Renting a Villa in Virgin GordaPlease note that the policies and procedures listed below tend to vary from island to island.General: On Virgin Gorda most homes include daily maid service except holidays and weekends. Cook service may be available at additional expense. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required within one week to hold a reservation. Reservations are not considered firm until the deposit is received. A confirmation letter is sent to you upon receipt of the deposit. Final Payment: The balance of your payment is due 60 days prior to your arrival date. All balance payments by credit card are subject to a 4% service fee. Cancellations: In general, for written cancellations received outside the 60 days of arrival - 20% of gross rental price is retained. For cancellations inside the 60 days of arrival - the entire 100% of the gross rental rate is forfeited. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to avoid the unexpected. Additional Info: Villas in Virgin Gorda require a 19% island tax and service charge. A Security deposit will be retained by credit card imprint upon check in. This is to cover any expenses such as long distance phone calls or damages. A 10 night minimum stay is required over the Christmas-New Years period. Higher rates may apply. All rates assume double occupancy of the rooms. There is a 7 night minimum required for all properties in the winter season.
