Getting Around
RENTAL CARS - There are rental cars, but if you want to drive in the BVI, you do need to have a valid BVI Driving License. A temporary license can be issued for the fee of U.S.$10.00 from the Traffic Licensing Office or from Virgin Gorda car rental agencies as long as you have a valid driver's license from your country. Remember that driving is on the left!! Maximum speed limit is 30 mph, and 10-15 mph in residential areas.
TAXI - Taxi service is available and an open air jitney shuttles between the main bays, Spanish Town, The Baths and Leverick Bay Dock (to pick up your water taxi to Drake's Anchorage and Biras Creek.
