St. Thomas Villa Rental InfoPlease note that the policies and procedures listed below tend to vary from island to island and are indicative of standard practices on each island.General: On St. Thomas only some of the homes include maid service and the frequency may vary from villa to villa. Please inquire. Smoking is not permitted in all villas. If you smoke please inquire before you travel as to the status of your villa. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required within one week to hold a reservation. Reservations are not considered firm until the deposit is received. A confirmation letter is sent to you upon receipt of the deposit. Final Payment: The balance of your payment is due 60 days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations: In general, for written cancellations received outside the 60 days of arrival - 20% of gross rental price is retained. For cancellations inside the 60 days of arrival -the entire 100% of the gross rental rate is forfeited. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to avoid the unexpected. Additional Info: Villas in St. Thomas require an 8% island tax charge. A Security deposit will be collected. The rate may vary from home to home. This is to cover any expenses such as long distance phone calls or damages. The security deposit will be returned 30 - 45 days after the completion of travel. All rates assume double occupancy of the rooms. There is a 7 night minimum required for all properties in the winter season. A 5 night stay is required in the summer season at most homes. A few select homes require a 7 night stay. Caribbean Luxury Collection can also arrange discount airfares, car and boat rentals, and medical and travel insurance. No more then 2 children 2 years old or under will be allowed in any villa during one reservation. A 10 night stay is required over the Christmas - New Years period. Higher rates may apply. Many homes will only rent at the full house low season rate over the Thanksgiving period.
