A driving tour brings you close to the history of this small island. Here are a few activities and places to visit on your next trip to St. Martin.

Simartn Museum:
Founded by the St. Maarten Museum Foundation, the objective of this museum is to the reflect the history and culture of the island and its people from prehistoric to modern times.

Public Library:
Open Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. and from 4 - 6 p.m. On Saturday it opens from 10 a.m. to 11a.m.

The Sint Maarten Zoo:
The zoo focuses on plants and animals of the Caribbean basin and South American area, including a substantial reptile collection. It is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and on weekends from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Fort Amsterdam, Fort Willem, and the ruins of Fort Bel-Air and Sint Peter's Battery:
Provides visitors with a look backward at the wartime history of the 17th and 18th centuries.
