Barbados Villa Rental InfoPlease note that the policies and procedures listed below tend to vary from island to island and are indicative of standard practices on each island.General: All villas on Barbados include cook and maid service, and the larger villas may have a butler, laundress and gardener. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required within one week to hold a reservation. Reservations are not considered firm until the deposit is received. A confirmation letter is sent to you upon receipt of the deposit. Final Payment: The balance of your payment is due 90 days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations: Cancellations are required in writing. If received outside the 90 days of arrival - 20% of gross rental price is retained. For cancellations inside the 90 days of arrival - the entire 100% gross rental is forfeited. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to avoid the unexpected. Additional Info: Barbados requires that all guests travelling to the island are in possession of a valid passport from their country of origin. Villas in Barbados require a 7.5% island tax and an advance security/damage deposit. The deposit will be held for approximately 30 - 45 days after the rental period to recover any expenses such as long distance phone calls or damages. Some villas will accept the security/damage deposit by credit card. All rates assume double occupancy of the rooms. There is a 7 night minimum required for all properties in the winter season. Caribbean Luxury Collection can also arrange your flights, car and boat rentals, and medical and travel insurance. Christmas - New Years: All rentals over the Christmas and New Years holiday period require a two week stay. Holiday rates may be higher than the posted winter season rates.
