Barbados Car Rental Vehicles can be rented with or without a driver with price ranges of $300 Bds. for a week's rental on a 4-passenger minimoke to $600.00 Bds. ($300 U.S.) for a 6-passenger automatic vehicle. You can also easily rent a motor scooter or a bicycle. Driving A valid National or International License is needed to drive in Barbados. For $10 Bds., a temporary registration can be obtained from the following: Hastings, Worthing, Holetown Police Stations and at the Licensing Authority which has offices at Oistins, Christ Church; the Pine, St. Michael; and Folkestone, St. James. You may be able to make arrangements through your Barbados car rental agency also. Oh yes, driving is on the left. Public Transportation Buses run on a regular schedule throughout the well-marked system of paved roads. Transport buses are blue, while private mini-buses are yellow. |
